About Me

CARLA CRAWFORD (she/her) is a New York and Washington, DC – based actor hailing originally from Alabama. Carla has been performing in some capacity since she was young girl – from singing in church choir productions, baton twirling as a University of Alabama Crimsonette, to simply making her friends laugh whenever possible. Her love of performing is rivaled only by her love for her three children, chocolate chip cookies and Alabama football. Roll Tide!!!

Carla studied drama at The Theatre Lab School of the Dramatic Arts (Honors Acting Conservatory) and most recently participated in the Adult Professional Performance program with the Broadway Artists Alliance in New York City where she worked with noted Broadway performers, Randy Graff and Jackie Burns.

While raising her children, Carla has primarily worked in the Washington, DC theatre scene, but now that she is an “empty nester”, she is actively pursuing performance collaborations in both the DC and New York areas. Carla is both thrilled and honored to be newly represented by MSA Talent Agency in NYC for Theatre, Television and Film.
